Can’t say we’re surprise with this one. 9to5Mac has just confirmed with a reliable source that there will indeed be a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display debuting alongside the iPad mini.
We already tipped you guys that a 13-inch MBP with Retina Display is in the works, and recently, reported that it might have possibly been delayed due to production issues. We’re still not sure about the latter, but this report pretty much confirms the former.
And if the latest report proves to be spot on, then October 23 is the big day when we’ll get to see and know more about the newest addition to Apple’s growing family of Retina Display-souped up MacBook Pro laptops.
Specs? We’re still in the dark as far as specs go, but based on the report, it’ll be pretty much the same scenario as its 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display sibling – available in two variants, differing in both processor and storage.
Same goes with the pricing. We’re still clueless, but just like with 15-MBP with Retina Display, it’ll definitely be priced at premium. It’s all just a question of how premium it’ll be.
Anyway, hopefully, the October 23 launch pushes through, so the wait for more info on this Retina Display lappy won’t painfully be too long
