Size aside, what’s the diff between the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and the 15-inch MBP Apple announced earlier in the year?
The main difference between this new Retina Display Macbook Pro and the 15-inch model is that the latter is available in two Core i7 models, a 2.3GHz-powered one and a faster 2.6GHz variant. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is only available with only type of processor under the hood, a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor.
And yes, just like the rest of its 13-inch MBP siblings and ancestors, the 13-inch MBP with Retina Display also doesn’t sport a secondary vid card to play wingman to its the stock Intel graphics.
So, depending on your needs, you can already go with the smaller and cheaper 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display or go big with its 15-inch sibling.
So which is it, fan boy – 13-inch or 15-inch? Or pass?
