Absinthe iPhone 4S, iPad jailbreak for Windows released! Download it here!
That sure didn’t take long. Windows users now have an Absinthe of their own to download and use to jailbreak the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
This should be a welcome treat for jailbreak aficionados out there as the previous method available to Windows users – the jailbreak CLI tool – was, without question, a bit more technical.
Absinthe for Windows, just like with the Mac version, is a lot easier to use. Just run Absinthe, plug in your A5-powered iOS device, hit the jailbreak button, launch the Absinthe app on your iPhone 4S or iPad 2, and when the Cydia app appears, tap on that to complete the whole jailbreak process.
No need to enter into DFU mode or do anything else. Absinthe will do everything for you already. Prolly next to JailbreakMe, this is, by far, one of the easiest, hassle-free jailbreak tools to use.

Those who want to jailbreak their iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, 3G or 4G iPod touch, or iPad 1, can use the redsn0w iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak, or either the updated PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze jailbreak.
So I guess that’s it! The gang’s all here. The next major jailbreak will be keeping an eye out for will be for iOS 5.1, which, if the current buzz is true, will be announced and released sometime in the next couple of months or so.
