Acer Aspire S5 formally lands on Philippines shores, 15mm-thin Ultrabook for Php65K
Yep, that’s right, boys and girls! The world’s slimmest Ultrabook, the Acer Aspire S5, is now available in the Philippines.
For those who missed our post on the Acer Aspire S5 (you can actually check it out here, if you want), this ultra-sexy 15mm-thinlappy sports a 13.3-inch CineCrystal LED display, with a 1.9GHz Intel Core i7 processor running under the hood, complemented by 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, Intel HD 4000 graphics, and a host of ports, including a Thunderbolt, HDMI and two USB3.0 ports, at the back that can be hidden when not in use.
And did I mention this is just 15mm thin? Yes? Well, just wanted to make sure you knew how ridiculously thin this Ultrabook is.
The damage?
SRP of the Acer Aspire S5 is Php65,000.
At that price, you can already get the entry-level 2012 13-inch MacBook Air. It may not be a Core i7-powered beast nor is it as wickedly thin as the Aspire S5, but hey, at least you’ll be getting some pocket change, Php7,010 worth of pocket change, to be exact.
