Be careful guys. I know Bad Piggies is oh-so-temptingly good, but there are very very bad Bad Piggies making the rounds.
The poser Bad Piggies app is available at the Chrome web store, which, once installed, will reveal it’s true nature – it’s NOT the hit Angry Birds spin-off, but really just adware disguised as the popular Rovio game to victimize as many unsuspecting users as it can.
And it’s done a pretty good job at it too. Accoding to Barracuda Networks, the malicious Bad Piggies has already infected 80,000 Google Chrome users.
So think before you click. Is there really a Bad Piggies game available for Chrome users? The answer is big fat NO.
The only official Rovio game that’s playable via Chrome is still Angry Birds. NOT Angry Birds Space. NOT Angry Birds Rio. NOT Bad Piggies. ONLY Angry Birds.
Will there be one?
We don’t know. If there is, don’t worry. We’ll give the heads up if we’ve got confirmation on it, but as far as the here and now is concerned, there’s none available.
