Got a Sony Xperia P? If so, then you’ve got an update!
After unleashing the ICS update for the Xperia S back in June, Sony Mobile has now official announced that they’ve begun rolling out the anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Xperia P.
Actually, we’re not sure if it’s readily available in the Philippines already, but in case it’s not, don’t worry. It’s definitely coming.
And while the good news here is mainly for Xperia P users, this announcement isn’t all only about the Xperia P. Sony Mobile also mentioned the Xperia U, Xperia sola and the outdoorsy Xperia go here, revealing that these three Xperias are next in line for ICS.
Read all about it here.
As for Jelly Bean, they’re still mum on Android 4.1 specifics but, before you unleash the vitriol on Sony Mobile, do note that none of the major players in the Android scene have released an official Jelly Bean upgrade shortlist yet. So just be patient. When the time comes when almost everyone’s got their Jelly Bean eligibility list out already, then that’s when you can start the grudge-fest.
