Just in the nick of time, Google has released a Jelly Bean update for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 addressing a bug in Android 4.2 that shortens the calendar year by a month in the Contacts app.

Android 4.2.1 is now seeding to these Nexus ‘droids across the globe to bring back December to the Contacts’ calendar. It also irons out problems with Bluetooth connectivity. It’s a mere 1.1MB download, so it should be a breeze updating to this new Android Jelly Bean release.

For everyone else (read: non-Nexus 4/Nexus 7/Nexus 10 users), which I’m guessing most of you guys, just mozy along ‘cause there’s nothing for you here.
