It sure took a while for it to land, but it’s finally here. After a seemingly endless wait, Angry Birds, along with its two other variations – Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons – is now available at the BlackBerry App World to download for you to enjoy on the BlackBerry Playbook.

We’re not quite sure why it took so long to arrive on the Playbook, but I guess that’s the least of our concerns now. As the adage goes; better late than never, right?

Now, if the $4.99 asking price is a bit way out of your budget, you can actually request this hit game as a gift. Just upgrade to BlackBerry App World 3.1 and try out the new Request a Gift feature with your BBM buddies and/or relatives. Who knows, this might be your lucky Christmas and you’d end up nabbing all three Angry Birds games without having to spend a single centavo.
