It’s no secret that Angry Birds is coming to Windows Phone 7. And now, we have a D-day to look forward to when Rovio’s chart-topping game will arrive on Microsoft’s revitalized mobile operating system.

June 29, 2011. That’s the release date when Angry Birds will finally be landing on Windows Phone territory. Unlike the one available on Android, this one’s not free though. No, this version of Angry Birds will come with a price tag of $2.99 (the one for the iPad retails at the same price, but the one for the iPhone/iPod touch is much cheaper – $0.99… size matters).

But Angry Birds isn’t the only hit game debuting on Windows Phone 7 next month. Plants vs Zombies will also be launched in June, on the 22nd to be exact. This one will retail for $4.99.

Here’s a rundown of the other games that’ll be released on Windows Phone 7 beginning next week:

• Hydro Thunder Go                          $4.99     May 25
• Doodle Jump                                 $2.99     June 1
• geoDefense                                   $2.99     June 8
• Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1    $6.99    June 15

I’m not such a fan of these other games, but hardcore gamers will surely have a blast with these new game offerings for Windows Phone 7.
