Brand new open line iPhone for just Php14,990! No kidding! And it’s legit!
After years of waiting, unlocked iPhones are now officially available here in the Philippines.
There’s just one big catch though, and I can’t emphasis enough how big the fine print is on this one.
The open-line iPhone we’re talking about here is not the iPhone 4S nor is it even the two-year old iPhone 4. It’s the iPhone 3GS!
So why get the unlocked iPhone 3GS if it’s that outdated already?
Well, for one, it’s not completely outdated yet. It can still get the job done, and more importantly, can run on Apple’s current iOS firmware, iOS 5. But what’ll probably really get people interested is its price.
How much?
The unlocked iPhone 3GS is priced at just – get this – Php14,990 only, making this the perfect iPhone for those who want to hop onboard the iOS bandwagon but don’t have the budget to splurge on one of the newer models.
Of course, you’ve also got to factor in the fact that it won’t be long now before the iPhone 3GS gets bumped off the officially Apple iPhone roster with the launch of the iPhone 5 or whatever the heck the new iPhone will be called. But hey, at least the regret of buying this one won’t be that painful, especially for your wallet.
