Color us surprised, but we’ve gotten word from the grapevine that the highly coveted Apple iPad 2 will indeed be making its official Philippine launch on April 29. That’s merely a week away!

All iPad 2 models and colors (except of course for the Verizon-specific models) will be available at launch day, and so will be the gamut of original iPad 2 accessories, like the Smart Cover. Here’s the complete list of iPad 2 models :

16 GB WiFi Only (Black and White)
32 GB WiFi Only (Black and White)
64 GB WiFi Only (Black and White)
16 GB 3G (Black and White)
32 GB 3G (Black and White)
64 GB 3G (Black and White)

Prices have not yet been released, but based on the US Dollar price, we reckon the prices of the iPad 2 will be the same as to when the iPad 1 was locally launched. The iPad 2 will be officially made available on select branches of official Apple Premium Resellers which include (Digital Hub, Power Mac, Switch, iStudio and The A-Shop)
