Windows Phone is creating a huge buzz locally courtesy of Nokia’s back-to-back launch on SMART and Globe. And with its simple yet unique Metro UI, it’s bound to get a loyal following of its own sooner or later.
But if you’re one of those who are already hooked and just can’t get enough of the Metro look, here’s a Chrome extension that’ll give your fave web browser the Metro makeover that you’ve been dying to have.
It’s called MySites and, once installed, it will display all your favorite sites, most used sites, and apps in new Metro-sexy tabs.
It also comes with a search bar that, sadly, isn’t customizable. But hey, you can always turn to Chrome’s omnibar for your preferred search engine so it’s not a serious deal-breaker.
Intrigued? Feel try to take it for a spin. Download it here.
I’m using it right now and, except for the fact you can’t assign which set shortcuts will be displayed by default, I actually kind’a like it.
Hat tip goes to LifeHacker for this one.
