Yes, the iPhone 4S’ camera is 3-megapixels better than the iPhone 4, and it comes with a 5-element lens as opposed to just 4, but what’s that really mean? Better pictures? Duh, of course, but how much better? Well, these comparative shots taken by the very first iPhone to the latest one should be able to answer that for us.
We’ve got Lisa Bettany to thank for this one, which clearly shows how much improved the iPhone 4S’ camera is, and the evolution of the iPhone’s camera through the years.
The iPhone’s prolly still a couple of generations away from replacing my trusty ol’ reliable Nikon D40 - if ever that’s even possible – but from the looks of it, the iPhone 4S is well equipped take the spot of my aging Canon Ixy 600 point-and-shoot, especially since it can record 1080p HD videos too.
How ’bout you guys? What are you thoughts on the vastly improved iPhone camera?
