Once just a rumor and a leak, Sony Mobile’s two new Xperia ‘droids are now official. Ladies and geeks, let’s all give a round of applause to the Sony Xperia Z (the one on the right) and Xperia ZL (the one on the left).
Consistent with what we’ve heard before, both the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL rock a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait processor with 2GB of RAM, Adrena 320 graphics, a gorgeous 5-inch 1080p Mobile Bravia 2 Engine-powered display on the front, a massive 13-megapixel Exmor RS cam ‘round the back, LTE connectivity, NFC, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as its OS.

Apart from a slightly different design, the Xperia Z is also IP57-certified. Meaning, it’s dust- and weather-proof, confirming this ‘droid will be the pricier one between the two.
Speaking of price, no word yet in that department, but we do know these two are slated to begin rolling out this March.
In the meantime, while we wait, you can check out the full press release here.
