Local handset maker Cherry Mobile has finally hopped onboard the dual-core bandwagon with the launch of the Cherry Mobile Magnum 2X.
This baby runs on a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor and boasts of a 3.8-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel rear cam, a secondary front-facing VGA camera, Bluetooth, WiFi (and WiFi hotspot capability), 8GB onboard storage, and with Android 2.2 as its OS (upgradable to Gingerbread).
Pretty modest, actually, compared to the other dual-core that are beasts out by now, but what really makes Cherry Mobile’s newest offering special is its price.
SRP of the Cherry Magnum 2X is Php15,899.
Now who says you need to burn a gaping hole in your wallet just to own a dual-core Android smartphone?

Wow, cherry mobile really wants a big share on the market, but they really need good marketing schemes and they should improve the UI of their phones, because most users of smartphones are from middle level up to the upper level of the community who has the appetite for good looking phones w/c they can boast, and cant they change their company name?
