The Cherry Pad and Cherry Pad Turbo are great for those working on a tight budget, but if you’re after something speedier, these two don’t exactly fit the bill. The Cherry Mobile Supreme, however, is, and just like Cherry Mobile’s other new tablet releases, also comes with a pretty reasonable price tag.
The Supreme is actually Cherry Mobile’s first dual-core tablet offering. It runs on a Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB RAM, and sports a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 2-megapixel front-facing cam, a rear camera (rating unknown), Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G connectivity, mini-HDMI out, preinstalled with Android Froyo 2.2.
Froyo got you down? Not to worry as Cherry Mobile did disclose they’re working on a Honeycomb upgrade for the Supreme to follow.
Now, for the all important question of price. Cherry Mobile’s new ‘droid tablet will debut with a suggested retail price of just Php16,899, making it possibly the most affordable dual-core tablet in the local market right now.
The Supreme is scheduled to roll out in December.
