Coloud ‘The Pop’ headphones review

I’m not a serious audiophile, and I’m not the biggest fan of in-ear headphones. That said, having tried out a number of headphones already, I did manage to develop enough of an ear to be able to tell whether a set of cans (or buds) is crappy or not.

Which is why I’m pleasantly surprised with the Coloud “The Pop” in-ears.

Box contents: Coloud “The Pop” earphones, Coloud sticker, earbud adapters

Not only did Coloud’s The Pop change my view about in-ear headphones (because it fit so snuggly and comfortably) but, more importantly, it also shattered the notion that a good pair of headphones are expensive.

Costing only Php995 a pop and performing almost as good as a pair of Urbanears, Coloud is clearly making a bold statement that quality need not be synonymous with being pricey.

Plus, just like The Knock, this too comes with a mic and remote and Coloud’s nifty signature Lasso Plug which you can use to wrangle The Pop into a bundle when not in use.

So that’s how you use the Lasso plug!

And for those of you who love to color coordinate stuff, you’ll love this one: the Coloud Pop is also available in a myriad of color combinations. So whether you’re the type who prefers everything in monotone or you’re one who likes a good splash of color here and there, there’s sure to be a Coloud Pop available that’ll suit your color palatte.

Different colors for different tastes

Needless to say, if it’s still not that obvious, Coloud’s The Pop gets our nod of approval.

Can the remote be used for playing the next or previous music item on a music player? or is it just used for voice calls?

    • @STEALTHSNIPER07: Yes, the remote can be used for a music player too – play and pause only though, but that’s good enough for me.
