It’s coming! It’s coming!
According to TechRadar, Samsung has officially announced the rollout of Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” for the Samsung Galaxy S II. We don’t know when yet, but it’s a confirmed yes. Yay to that!
More to the point, the Android update has in fact already begun its rollout in Samsung’s native Korea. According to the news vine, it’s an hour-long upgrade via Kies (so brace yourselves and do it before bedtime when it comes) and that among the changes would be that the new OS will eat an additional 1GB of storage from your phone. So make sure to make room for it.
