Cut the Rope for Mac hits the Mac App Store

Love Cut the Rope?

We know you do, and if you’ve got a Mac, we know you’ll love this bit of news too.

Cut the Rope is now available at the Mac App Store, ready to spread the joy of Om Nom feeding to Mac users all over the globe.

And note, this isn’t just a direct port of the hit iOS game to the Mac platform. Cut the Rope for Mac offers up new levels and takes advantage of every inch of the Mac’s significantly bigger display.

The Mac version of Cut the Rope comes bundled with 250 levels of entertaining gameplay, and if you want to pit your rope cutting skills with the rest of the Cut the Rope playing community, there’s Scoreloop you can turn to. But once Mountain Lion rolls out, Zeptolabs will release an update for this so it’ll play nicely with Apple’s Game Center.

It’s not free, though. Cut the Rope for Mac is retailing for $4.99, or roughly around Php213.

Not such a bad deal, but for stingy gamers like me, that’s more than enough to make me look away.
