ZTE’s Ice Cream Sandwich-powered treat – the ZTE Grand X – is now officially official. Well, that’s as far as the UK goes.
So why talk about the ZTE Grand X if it’s not yet available locally?
‘Cause that’s precisely it, it’s not yet available locally. Meaning, it will be soon as ZTE name-dropped this particular ‘droid during the recent launch of ZTE phones in the country.
With that out of the way, let’s now move to what this ‘droid brings to the table.
Unlike the ZTE N880E or any of the ‘droids they’ve locally launched, this one’s a little bit more impressive. The Grand X runs on a 1GHz dual-core processor, with 512MB RAM, 4GB onboard storage, a 5-megapixel AF cam with flash at the back, a secondary 0.3MP-cam on the front, a 4.3-inch 960×540 resolution touchscreen, and of course, we can’t forget, Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS.
With the Grand X getting the green light to go public in the UK, we sure hope it won’t be long now before this dual-core ICS treat gets launched in the Philippines too.
