The title pretty much covers the most important good news for today’s jailbreak-centric news post, iOS 6 and iOS 6.1 can be jailbroken and better, we now know what this new jailbreak is called – evasi0n.

So, what’s the bad news?

It’s not out yet.

But before you frown, here’s another bit of good news for you – it’s in private beta testing already! Meaning, it’s pretty darn close to being ready for primetime.

And if you take into consideration the flurry of recent jailbreak rumors and the date displayed in the Calendar app of the iOS devices posted on evasi0n’s welcome page – February 3 – it appears the wait for this iOS 6/6.1 jailbreak to go public won’t be that agonizingly long.
