It took forever to arrive, but it’s finally here!
The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update came to my Nexus 7 overnight, and I’m happy it did. I was frustrated waiting for the OTA update and was actually considering doing it manually. Thank God I waited.
Like many have already said, this is basically a bug fix, and nothing on the surface is apparently new. The Bluetooth audio streaming bug is supposedly fixed, as is a host of others. I’ve never really encountered that stuttering problem, but it’s good to know that it’s been fixed.
I’m especially anxious to see if the battery life has been improved. I’m kinda bummed out that Nexus was only showing me 7 or 8 hours of battery life, and the update supposedly bumps that up to 10 hours of power.
Will observe, and report back what I find as to what’s been changed and improved.
Just wanted to let you know that the update is available here already for your compatible devices.
