NOW it’s officially official! Flipboard for Android is now available for everyone to enjoy.

And by everyone, I mean everyone who has at least Android 2.2 installed on their device. And here’s good news for those who’ve been turned off by the beta tag in the previous release – they’ve finally dropped it in this version!

For those who’ve installed the beta version of Flipboard, all you need to do is update to get the final public release of Flipboard. But unlike before, you won’t get notified within the app that there’s an update available. You’ll have to check manually at the Google Play store. But don’t worry, updating is easy breezy.

I’ve updated already and haven’t noticed any major difference in this one compared to the beta release. How ‘bout you guys? Updated already? Noticed anything new worth noting here? Chime in your observations below.
