Remember the LTE-enabled Sony Xperia V?
Well, it’s now in the Philippines thanks to SMART. Not yet available though, but it’ll soon be under SMART’s two LTE  postpaid plans.
The Sony Xperia V LTE can be had for free under SMART LTE Plan 1500 and Plan 2000, but note, it’ll only be free on the former up until January 30, 2013. Otherwise, the Xperia V will cost Php6,500 if you get it on LTE Plan 1500.
The Sony Xperia V sports a 4.3-inch Bravia Engine 2-powered display with a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor under the hood, 1GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 8GB onboard storage, Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS, the usual array of Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC connectivity, made extra special with LTE and a water-proof body.
As for Plan 1500, it comes with 120 all-network SMS, 60 mins all-network calls and a 1.5GB of data. Plan 2000, meanwhile, offers up 200 all-network SMS, 150 mins all-network calls, and 2.5GB of data. But since SMARTs LTE will be unlimited up until the end of January next year, you’re basically getting unlimited LTE on these two plans up until early next year. Though yeah, I have to say, that 1.5GB and 2.5GB data cap is major a real deal-breaker.

If you don’t mind going for a less popular brand, you can also get the ZTE T82 on Plan 1500. This one’s a 1.5Ghz dual-core ‘droid with a 4.3-inch touchscreen and an 8-megapixel camera.
