Still haven’t ditched your Galaxy Nexus? If so, then here’s great news for you – you can now enjoy Jelly Bean on your Samsung-built ‘droid!
Well, not now as in literally now, but very soon ‘cause the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Nexus has already begun rolling out, and should become available to all Galaxy Nexus users all over the globe within the next couple of days. The big joyous announcement was made over on the Nexus page on Google+.
Once you’ve update to Jelly Bean, you can then enjoy the benefits of Project Butter, the all-new and improved notifications drawer, and use Voice Search anytime of the day.
Galaxy Nexus GSM models are first in line for the Jelly Bean update, while the rest of the Galaxy Nexus CDMA variant, Nexus S, Motorola Xoom and Nexus 7 will get theirs later this month.
The rest of us non-Nexus users, meanwhile, will have to have to wait for the respective announcements from our phone makers as to when and if Jelly Bean is in the future of our dear ‘droid phones.
So, any luck Galaxy Nexus users? Got Jelly Bean already?
