It’s the new year and here we are again at the Consumer Electronics Show which is held annually at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. It never ceases to amaze me how much packed this event is, it seems to me that the Consumer Electronics Show gets more crowded each year. Shoulder-to-shoulder traffic at the entrance and long lines at the concession stands.
I was prudent enough to register early and get my press badges and tickets a couple of months early. But for those who registered at the last minute, the crowd and long lines at the registration booth is sure to be a discouragement. I escorted a couple of my colleague in the tech industry to procure their exhibitor and guest ID in the registration tent and the crowd that greeted us was pretty jaw-dropping. Luckily, the registration tent was more than huge enough to accommodate the crowd and their were a lot of counters to process the registrants.
Here’s a tip kiddies: if you’re going to attend CES, always register early! Take a gander at the pictures of the crowd at the CES registration tent.
