While Apple is set to unleash the new iPhone on the world as soon as this month, Globe Telecom is being prudent with the pricing of the soon-to-be phased out iPhone 4S in the effort sell out their existing stocks. Yes, folks, Globe’s iPhone 4S Prepaid kit is getting a price drop. Unfortunately, the price drop isn’t really something to write home about. How “big” exactly is this price drop? It’s to the tune of One Thousand Pesos.

We’re weeks away from the launch of the iPhone 5 and Globe is dropping the price of the 4S by Php 1,000. UNFREAKIN’ BELIEVABLE! For the iPhone 4S to still be compelling, I was expecting a price drop of at least Php 5,000. But hey, I’m not a Globe executive, I’m just an ordinary consumer, so what do I know, right?
