If so, you’ll be happy to know that, just like every Globe postpaid subscriber, you too can now stay connected even while you’re abroad all thanks to GROAM. Yep, GROAM. That’s an M right there, NOT an N ’cause if it were, that’d be a totally different thing. This here is Globe’s new roaming service for prepaid subscribers.
How do you take advantage of this?
First, you need to activate the service. Just text GROAM ON to 2884 to turn it on. To make a call, dial 131 + country code you’re calling + area code (or operator code) + number your calling + #. For SMS, it’s much simpler. Just affix “+” + country code to the number you’re sending a text message too.
Activation is free, but you do, however, need to at least have Php100 balance for it to be activated. As for calling and SMS, you need to have at least Php80 and Php25 balance respectively to enjoy these privileges.
