Bad new, guys. Google’s big event scheduled for today – 10:00 pm Philippine time – in the big Apple won’t be pushing through anymore.
Blame it on good old Mother Nature. Hurricane Sandy has forced Google to postpone their October-ending event to a yet-to-be-determined date.
Here’s the statement released by Google as posted over on The Verge:
We are canceling our Monday morning event in New York due to Hurricane Sandy. We will let you know our plans as soon as we know more.
But don’t think we won’t have anything new to talk about this week.
If you still haven’t heard, Microsoft’s also launching Windows Phone 8 today. So we’ve definitely got no shortage of new stuff for you guys this week. It just won’t be the stuff you Android fan boys out there are eagerly looking forward to.
