Here’s more good news for you iOS users out there who, like me, are now living the Google-driven life.
After the release of Chrome for iOS, Google Drive is now likewise available on iOS. It’s a universal app, so there’s no need to download different versions for your iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. You do need, however, iOS 5.0 to be installed to get this working on your iOS device. Other than that, you’re good to go.

If you’ve used the Google Drive Android app already, this one will be very familiar to you. For those who haven’t but use Dropbox, Google Drive for iOS works almost the same way.
Note – almost. It lacks one crucial feature that both its Android counterpart and Dropbox have – uploading to the cloud. Hopefully, they’ll allow this in the future, but as far as the here and now goes, it’s a no-go for uploading from iOS to Google Drive.
But hey, at least Google Drive for iOS is here, and that is the most important part. At least for now.
