Well well well. Looks like Google’s got more than just a new OS for Android fan boys. The Google Play Store has been updated to version 3.7.15, and is now making its way to ‘droids all over the globe as we speak.
Based on the screen shots, it appears Google did some layout changes to the storefront, ditching the top navigation bar in favor of a side-mounted set of shortcuts. And not just that, the settings menu for the Play Store also got a slight makeover too.
Now, on to the most important question - is it available already in the Philippines?
I’ve checked on my ICS-powered HTC Sensation, and found no sign of it yet. I’ll again later this week to check on the status of this new Google Play Store for Philippine ‘droids.
But if you really can’t wait, then head on over to AndroidPolice where they’ve got a bunch of download links to the APK of Google Play Store v3.7.15.
Got the new Play Store already? Great! Care to share any feedback on it?

Yeah, turns out I’ve been on the update for some time already and didn’t notice it too. Then again, that’s because Play has been changing so often the past year that I’ve already become desensitized to its changes.
