Official iPad mini price list, converted to pesos

So, the iPad mini’s now official. Were we spot on with regards to the pricing?

It’s a yes! But it’s a no too.

Confused?

Well, just check out the iPad mini price table below to know just what I mean:

US$ priceConverted to Php ($1=Php41.39)
16GB iPad mini WiFi only$329Php13,618
32GB iPad mini WiFi only$429Php17,757
64GB iPad mini WiFi only$529Php21,896
16GB iPad mini WiFi+Cellular$459Php18,999
32GB iPad mini WiFi+Cellular$559Php23,138
64GB iPad mini WiFi+Cellular$659Php27,277

Since the iPad mini isn’t available yet in our region, there’s no pricing yet posted over at the Philippine Apple Online store (and there’s no telling when it will be).

So, we just relied on how much it’ll retail in the US and converted it to Philippine Peso. Yes, future tense ‘cause it’s yet to be available there as well. As Adel already mentioned, ETA for the iPad mini’s release in the US is November 2. WiFi only models first out the door, followed by the LTE-souped up iPad mini models.

If converted directly, the most affordable iPad mini is actually much more affordable then what we expected it to be. That said, the priciest one is also way much more expensive than Art’s estimated pricing.

But before you start planning your iPad mini budget, remember, there are still taxes and other charges that need to be factored in here. Needless to say, the entry level iPad mini definitely won’t go for just Php13K. It might actually just retail around Art’s guesstimate Php16.5K price point. Operative word, of course, is might.

Anyway, hopefully, the wait won’t be painfully too long so it’ll be a very merry iPad mini Christmas for you Apple fan boys out there.
