Looks familiar?
It should, ‘cause this is practically the single SIM twin of HTC’s first and currently lone dual SIM offering, HTC Desire V.
This here’s the HTC Desire X.
Aside from its design, it’s nearly identical to the Desire V in terms of specs too – 4-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel cam, no front-facing cam, 4GB onboard storage, pre-installed with ICS and powered by a 1650 mAH battery.

So what’s the diff aside from being a lone SIM phone? The Desire X comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor and more RAM, 768MB (vs 512MB on the Desire V). Aaaand, that’s pretty much it.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, this too is qualified for the free 25GB of Dropbox storage.
Now, as to when this baby will be released and how much it’ll go for, according to The Verge, this will mostly likely go on sale in Asia – the Philippines, hopefully, included – in mid-September, although pricing is still yet to be known. With the Desire V debuting with a price tag of Php17K, this will probably be a couple grand more expensive than its dual SIM twin.
As usual, we’ll have more on this once we get word on local availability and pricing.
