UPDATED: HTC One X to retail for Php34K, HTC One V for Php16.5K in the Philippines

We just got a preview of two of HTC‘s new One series ‘droids last night, and I must say, their flagship One X sure is a beauty.

But just be prepared to fork over a small fortune if you’re planning to get one ‘because this ‘droid ain’t cheap.

SRP of the HTC One X is a whopping Php34,000.

However, if you are willing to pay that amount, I’m pretty sure you’ll be quite happy with what you’ll be getting in return. It’s a certified head turner and is tough as nails. They actually banged it several times on the display tables at the Digital Walker store in Eastwood City – without hesitation, might I add – and it surprisingly showed no dents or bruises from the beating.

Not only that, it’s also a great digital cam substitute too. Armed with the latest tech that aims to make every snapshot the prefect one, the One X is a definite standout in the realm of mobile phone photography.

The other One series handset HTC previewed last night was the HTC One V. It maybe a tad smaller and not quite as stunning and impressive as the One X, but on the upside, it’s a shade under half the cost of its heftier One sibling and it’s not actually all that bad (Android ICS, 5-MP AF cam, 1GHz processor).

SRP of the One V is just Php16,500.

Both will be officially launched by the end of the week, and just as they announced back at MWC 2012, comes with 25GB free Dropbox cloud storage for 2 years.

Now, I know you’re wondering – where’s the HTC One S?

Unfortunately, it won’t be ready until Q3. No official reason was given, but hey, at least we now know it didn’t get canned.

UPDATE: The HTC One X and One V are now both in stores, and better, also more affordable too. Check out the new HTC One X and One V prices.
