What’s HTC got in the pipeline this 2012? We’ve already seen a couple of ‘em – the HTC Ville, HTC Zeta, HTC Quattro, and HTC Edge – although none of them are official yet. And now, you can add one more handset to that growing list, the HTC Primo.
The HTC Primo rocks a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen slathered with Gorilla Glass for protection, a 5-megapixel shooter ‘round the back with an f/2.0 aperture and simultaneous photo shooting and 720p video recording mode, Beats audio, Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS, and a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM running under the hood.
Yeah, that last bit ‘bout its processor and RAM is somewhat of a letdown, but on the upside, if that’s any indication, this could be the phone to watch out for if you want a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich but don’t have the budget to splurge on one of the higher end ones.
Oh, and don’t put too much into the image above. That’s merely a mock up.
With MWC 2012 fast approaching, we’ve high hopes will be hearing more about the HTC Primo at the grand tech even in Barcelona this coming February.

The processor and RAM won’t be problems. Running ICS on the Nexus S, which only has a single core 1ghz processor and same RAM is still buttery smooth.
