Quick question for you HTC Desire HD users out there – starting to lose hope you’ll ever get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich?
We can’t blame you. Jelly Bean, the next big thing after Ice Cream Sandwich, has been announced already, and there’s still no sign of ICS for you guys.
But don’t lose hope, and more importantly, don’t believe those rumors that ICS for the HTC Desire HD has been canned. It hasn’t been canned, and is, in fact, on its way.
When it’ll specifically be released, we still don’t know yet though, but HTC did confirm via an email that Ice Cream Sandwich for the HTC Desire HD is on track for a July-August debut. That is, if the email that’s the basis of this bit of news isn’t just a nasty prank, which we’re optimistic isn’t.
Anyway, we’ll be keeping tabs on this one and update you guys on whatever developments there are as far as ICS for the Desire HD and other qualified HTC ‘droids go.
