Hey, Sony (Ericsson) Xperia Active users! It’s finally your turn to get Ice Cream Sandwich.

But just like with the Xperia mini pro and other Sony (Ericsson) Xperia phones of the last year, not all Xperia Active Android phones are eligible for this ICS update. Not now, that is. Only those with a qualified SI number can now get a taste of the Ice Cream Sandwich life.

And no, you still can’t update over-the-air (OTA). You need PC Companion (for Windows) or Bridge for Mac (for – what else – Mac) to install Android 4.0 to your Xperia.

But hey, at least it’s here. So, you got yours already?
