Yes, Snowbreeze 2.3b1 can jailbreak your iOS 4.3 device for you if you’re a Windows user, but it’s tethered. And as jailbreak enthusiasts will agree, it’s the untethered jailbreak that’s really worth looking forward to.

Fortunately, the wait won’t be that long. Stefan Esser has posted this video on YouTube showing off his untethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak on a 1G iPad:

Stefan reveals how he’s optimistic that the public version will be finished and ready to roll out “before the next weekend. He does note, though, that this still won’t be able to jailbreak the iPad 2, and if someone else releases an untethered jailbreak before he wraps up work on this one, he’ll no longer push through with a public version of his jailbreak.
