It’s the weekend already and still no sign of the supposed iPad mini launch invites.

Has it been canned? Is the iPad mini rumor a bust?

We’re not quite sure, but for the record, we’re still pretty confident the iPad mini does exist. So no, we don’t think it’s been canned.

So where is it then?

Well, we’ll be straight with you guys – we don’t know. But if the latest rumor proves to be true, production issues is to be blamed. Because of the difficulty in getting production up to speed, Apple has reportedly been forced to delay, not only the launch of the iPad mini, but also the long rumored 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro.

This certainly lines up nicely with the recent news concerning Foxconn, but let’s face it, there’s really no way we can verify if this is the true reason behind delayed product launches. As the saying goes, only time will tell.
