Here’s slightly good news for you guys planning to gift yourself an iPad mini this Christmas.

It looks like the iPad mini launch will still push through this October. According to All Things D, the anticipated welcome party of the newest addition to Apple’s iPad family will be on October 23. That’s next Tuesday already.

If true, then the invites should start rolling out sometime this week. Operative word is IF.

We’ve already had one iPad mini launch rumor busted already. Let’s all hope this one doesn’t follow in its footsteps. Though, I have to admit, I’m feeling pretty good about this new iPad mini launch info, given the source of this particular news bit.

As for specs, nothing new was revealed. Its 7.85-inch touchscreen and Lightning connector are still the only specs we’ve got to work on.

But hey, October 23 is just a stone’s throw away. So let’s all just wait and see, shall we?
