iPhone 5 now Available in Singapore, Hong Kong: Here’s how much it costs!

SMART and Globe have both been teasing the  iPhone 5 even prior to the official announcement, but neither have really set a date yet as to when the new iPhone will arrive in the Philippines.

If you can’t stand the wait anymore, you can already head on over to Singapore or Hong Kong to get one since the iPhone 5 is already available in these two Asian countries.

Actually, I’m not sure if you’ll be able to get one once you get there ‘cause, as far as Singapore goes, the Apple Online Store is already listing it as Currently unavailable, and Hong Kong isn’t even entertaining orders online, citing high demand as the reason for disabling online orders for the iPhone 5.

But as far as pricing goes, we do have that for you. Check it out below:

S$ price Converted to Php ($1=Php34.05)
iPhone 5 16GB S$948 Php32,276
iPhone 5 32GB S$1,088 Php37,043
iPhpne 5 64GB S$1,238 Php42,150

How ’bout Hong Kong pricing?

Unfortunately, since they’re not entertaining online orders, they didn’t post their pricing for the iPhone 5 on the web. But they did post the starting price as HK$5,588, or five hundred bucks pricier than the iPhone 4S. Taking a cue from their iPhone 4S pricing last year, here’s how much the other models might cost:

HK$ price Converted to Php (HK$1=Php5.38)
iPhone 5 16GB HK$5,588 Php30,039
iPhone 5 32GB HK$6,388 Ph34,339
iPhpne 5 64GB HK$7,188 Php38,640

Remember, this is just a guesstimate based on last year’s pricing scheme. This isn’t the official price of the iPhone 5 in Hong Kong.

Now, I know what you’re wondering – why not get the iPhone 5 from the US, just like with the previous iPhones?

Well, because the one in the US doesn’t support the LTE bands used by SMART and Globe. The one being sold in Hong Kong and Singapore does.

With that out of the way, the only question left now is – will you be getting one? So, are you?
