Yep, that’s Windows Phone 8, but no, that’s not a Lumia 900 or Lumia 800 there. That’s the Nokia Phi, Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone.
Nokia Phi, just for the record, is a just a codename, but it is certified by Nokia Innovation that it’s this particular device pictured here.
In addition to being the first Nokia treat to run on the newest Windows Phone platform, this baby also has the privilege of being the first Nokia dual-core Windows Phone handset too. Yeah yeah, I know. It’s not something to really get excited about in this day and age of quad-core goodies, but hey, this should still be good news for Nokianatics out there who’ve fallen in love with Windows Phone.
And if the Phi is too – well – ordinary for you given it doesn’t exactly offer up anything new that the Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 haven’t already done so in terms of design, you’ll be happy to know two more Nokia Windows Phone 8 treats will be launched alongside this bad boy in October.
That, unfortunately, is as good as it gets for now as we don’t have further info on the Phi or the other Nokia WP8 smartphones coming our way.
But do stay tuned as we’re pretty sure we’ll be hearing more about these WP8 smartphones in the coming weeks.

I smell an Apple design strategy. N9>Limia 800>WP8 device flagship!
