Here it is, guys! Nikon’s first Android offering – the Nikon CoolPix S800c (formerly referred to as the CoolPix S800).
And by here, I don’t mean it’s official already. I just mean we’ve finally got a render at what it could look like. Operative word here, of course, is could.
And by Android, I don’t mean phone ‘cause, last I checked, Nikon has no plans of trying their luck in the highly competitive smartphone market. The S800c, if the CoolPix name and renders aren’t obvious enough, is an Android camera.
While the pic above does serve to slightly confirm the Nikon Android rumor, the surfacing of two CoolPix renders raises more questions than answers, such as which of these two is the real S800c? And what’s the other one called? Also, do both run on Android?
But hey, on the bright side, today’s already August 22, the rumored launch date of this rumored Nikon Android gizmo. So it shouldn’t be long now before we finally get the official deets on this Android digicam.
That is, of course, if there’s really some truth to this Nikon Android rumor.
