We know the rugged Xperia acro S is coming next month, but as it turns out, that’s not the only rugged Xperia when can expect to hit stores in August.
Yep, that’s right kids! The other outdoorsy Sony Xperia ‘droid, the Xperis go, is also arriving in the Philippines in August.
Just to recap what the Xperia go brings to the table, this weather-proof ‘droid runs a dual-core 1GHz processor with Gingerbread as its OS , 512MB RAM, 8GB on board storage, a 5-megapixel AF cam with LED flash at the back, and a modestly sized 3.5-inch touchscreen on the front.
For comparison’s sake, the Xperia acro S runs on a faster 1.5GHz dual-core processor with Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS, a better 12-megapixel cam, and bigger 4.3-inch touchscreen.
No word on Philippine pricing yet, but given its specs, we expect this not to go beyond the Php20K price point.
