So iOS 6 is out. But the more important question for you jailbreak aficionados out there (like our EIC) is… can it be jailbroken?
Answer – YES! iOS 6 can be jailbroken. Right here, right now.
Not in the perfect jailbroken sense though, but yes, there is already a way to jailbreak iOS 6. It’s via the latest build of Redsn0w!
Note that this only works with the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and 4th gen iPod touch. So yeah, not a whole lot of people can take advantage of this hack. And given how unpopular tethered jailbreaks are, I’m guessing most people won’t even dare give this a try.
But hey, if you’re one of those dudes who didn’t heed the call to not upgrade to iOS 6 until given the green light to do so, and are now missing your dear jailbreak apps, then this should be a nice respite from the un-jailbroken life.

For everyone else, stay clear of iOS 6 until a fully functional untethered iOS 6 jailbreak is released.
