JailbreakMe 3.0, the web-based jailbreak tool, opened its doors to the public last week and it’s got a new record under its belt. It hasn’t even been a week since it’s gone live and JailbreakMe 3.0 has already managed to jailbreak over 2 million iOS devices.

That’s a small number, given there are actually more than 200 million iOS users spread across the planet. Still, 2 million jailbroken iOS devices in less than a week? That’s quite an impressive feat, but one that shouldn’t be surprising really, considering JailbreakMe 3.0 is one of the more convenient ways to jailbreak an iOS device these days.

No jailbreak tool downloading required. No hooking up to a PC/Mac required. Everything’s done OTA. Neat, right?
