Heads up, Nexus S users! It’s your turn to get some Jelly Bean goodness.
Just like with the Galaxy Nexus, Google announced the good news over on the Nexus Google+ page. As always, however, there’s no specific time table as to when Jelly Bean will hit Nexus S ‘droids here in the Philippines.
Jelly Bean, for the benefit of those of you who’ve been out of the loop lately, is the latest Android version out of Google’s kitchen. It introduces several new treats, including offline Voice Search and a more interactive Notifications drawer. But what many will probably laud Jelly Bean for is its blazing speed, thanks to Google’s yummily named Project Butter.

Impressive, eh? Jelly Bean’s probably the main reason why everyone’s ogling at the Nexus 7. That, and its uber-affordable price tag.
Oh, and spoiler alert, we’ll be test driving a Nexus 7 real soon. Watch for it!
But for now, just treat this as a heads up that Jelly Bean for the Nexus S is on it’s way if, in case, you haven’t received the golden notification.
