Move over Eee Pad Trasnformer and make room for your new competition in the keyboard dock-equipped Android tablet segment of the market – the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 10.
Just like Asus’ Eee Pad Transformer and Transformer Prime, Lenovo’s new Android tablet treat is a 10-incher with detachable keyboard that also doubles as an extended battery.
But unlike the quad-core Transformer Prime, the IdeaTab S2 10 only runs on a dual-core processor (1.5GHz), but ups the ante with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
A 5-megapixel AF cam at the back, a 1.3-megapxiel cam on the front, 1GB of RAM, SSD storage, micro HDMI port, and 3G connectivity with call support round up the specs of this tablet. The IdeaTab S2 10′s keyboard dock, for its part, sports two USB 2.0 ports, an SDHC card reader, and multitouch trackpad.

Pricing and availability info are all still yet to be known though. So just check back with us soon as we’re pretty sure we’ll be hearing more about this in the coming weeks, if not days.
But how ’bout a quick survey before I wrap this up, how many of you guys are excited to see this baby roll out in the Philippines? Or is a keyboard-less Android ICS tablet fine and dandy for you?
