Lenovo Mobile’s got a new Android phone out, and it’s their first Ice Cream Sandwich treat for the Philippines. Kids, meet the Lenovo P700.
Its Android OS is really its claim to fame, but its other specs are pretty decent too. It sports a 4-inch display, with a 5-megapixel AF camera (sans flash) round the back, a VGA cam on the front, a 1GHz processor under the hood, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, dual SIM/dual standby functionality, and a very very juicy 2500mAh battery.
And just in case that 2500mAh isn’t enough to power your needs throughout the day, Lenovo’s throwing in a free Belkin 1000mAh Powerpack to further sweeten the deal. This freebie is available to everyone who purchases the Lenovo P700 at authorized retail outlets on or before August 15.
And the best part?
The Lenovo P700 is retailing for just – wait for it – Php10,999!
Sure, it may not come with HSPA connectivity, but at that price, I say it’s a pretty fair trade off. And as far as we know, the only other 1GHz dual SIM Ice Cream Sandwich Android out now locally is the HTC Desire V, and that costs more than Php15K.
