LG has officially hopped onboard the ultrabook bandwagon with the announcement of the LG X-Note Z330.
This 0.58-inch thin lappie sports a 13.3-inch HD (1366×768) LED backlit display with WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, HDMI out, USB 3.0, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000, and your choice of either a Core i5 processor and 120GB SSD storage or Core i7 processor and 256GB SSD bundled under the hood.
No word yet if this will be released locally, but with the budding Philippine ultrabook scene well represented by big names already – Asus, Acer, Samsung, and Apple just being some of them – it wouldn’t hurt LG to join the fray as well.
And if they do decide to release this bad boy in the Philippines, we’re hoping they’ll rethink its price (1.7M Won for the Core i5 model, 2.6M Won for the Core i7 variant – roughly Php61K and Php99K respectively). Because if they don’t, they can kiss their first venture into the local ultrabook market as a success goodbye.
